Sagano Romantic Train & Hazukyo River Boat
You can enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto by riding the popular Sagano Scenic Railway Torokko train as well as a boat on the Hozugawa River. For convenience, a bus will be used for in-between transfers.
Also known as Sagano Romantic Train, the retro-style Sagano Scenic Railway Torokko train runs along the Hozugawa valley, offering a fantastic view of the surrounding nature in autumn. Plus, take an exhilarating boat ride on the Hozugawa River, which is a popular activity among visitors.
Spend 2 hours and 20 minutes in Arashiyama, where you are free to have lunch and go sightseeing or shopping. Participants will be given a discount coupon which can be used on selected facilities, shops, and restaurants!
This tour features audio guides on the bus for English, Chinese, and Korean. There will be an accompanying Japanese-speaking bus guide.

Board the Sagano Romantic Train and enjoy the tranquillity of nature accompanied by great outdoor diesel train. It is about 25 minutes journey from Torokko Saga Station to Torroko Kameoke Station, which is near the boarding area for the Hozu-gawa River Boat Ride! This would be perfect during the autumn season as it is full of autumn foliage.

After all the hands on activities, next experience the graceful bamboo pillars stretching up to the sky, whispering back and forth through the wind with illuminated morning lights beaming through the bamboo pillars at Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Walk around at one of the most photographed places in Kyoto.
The walk may be a bit of a hike at some areas, be sure to be equipped with mineral water to quench your thirst. You are free to have your own lunch time.
