Fuji’s 5th Station and Hakone-en, and enjoy activities such as a cruise on pristine Lake Ashi, and a ride on Komagatake Ropeway. All the activities mentioned will let you catch the glorious views of Japan’s cultural icon, Mount Fuji.

Mt. Fuji 5th Station
 The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line.

The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 ft) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.

[Remarks]

If Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, or weather conditions the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.

Lake Ashi Cruise
 This crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone was formed by a powerful volcanic eruption nearly 3,000 years ago, and provides postcard views of Mt. Fuji towering 30 km northwest. Admire the superb view of Mt. Fuji from aboard a ship.

*The tour may be guided to another ropeway or an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.

Komagatake Ropeway
 Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop.

*The tour may be guided to another ropeway or an alternative destination if the Komagatake Ropeway operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.

Hakone-en
 (After the tour, the bus may stop at Hakone area hotels to allow customers on tours with accommodation included disembark. )

Stop-over at Odawara Station
[If returning by Shinkansen] Board the Kodama Shinkansen to Tokyo in the non-reserved section.

There will be no accompanying National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter on the Shinkansen for the return trip. In this case, information on how to return to hotels will be provided in advance.

 After arrival, please head to your next destination on your own.

(If returning by Shinkansen, customers may get off at Shin-Yokohama, Shinagawa or Tokyo stations.)
